The museum holds a collection of paintings and archives that retrace the history of the Maison Fournaise and the golden age of the banks of the Seine river. The Collection is regulary being enriched thanks to the association of Les Amis de la Maison Fournaise, the Ville de Chatou and private donations.
The collection gathers paintings by André Derain, Ferdinand Heilbuth, Albert Lebourg, Maurice Réalier Dumas, Gustave Maincent, Andrien Karbowsky, Charles Camoin, and other artists named the minor masters of the Seine’s banks.
It also includes a sculpture by Renoir, ceramics made by André Mettey and Maurice de Vlaminck, and prints, cartoons and souvenirs from Guy de Maupassant, that recall the golden age of boating and impressionism.
